Become a part of the team that plans, prepares, and/or serves the food for these events. Church Office858-481-0424 Greeters and UshersA warm welcome and confusion-free initial visit to Canyon Hills Community Church creates a powerful first impression. The Greeters and Ushers welcome people as they arrive at the doors of our main auditorium. They hand out bulletins, give directions to other locations on campus, and assist people in finding seating within the auditorium. They also participate in collecting and securing the offerings following each worship service. Greeters and Ushers arrive 20 minutes prior to the worship service. Responsibilities include organizing current books, cataloguing new books, monitoring check-in and check-out procedures. Different members of the team are responsible for preparation and set-up of the beverage and snack areas prior to the weekend services, maintenance of the refreshment areas during services, clean-up following the services, or for providing freshly-prepared snacks.
