Outreach OpportunitiesLocal Outreach OpportunitiesAre you looking for ministry opportunities to reach people for Christ and provide for those less fortunate than ourselves right here in San Diego?Care and Feeding of Homeless(The first Monday of each month). Come and help hand out sandwiches, blankets, water bottles, pick up trash, provide encouragement to those in the homeless shelter. If you can’t attend the event but can help with food, blankets, socks and jackets, please contact Jill Baker.Jill Baker 858-353-0841 Senior Outreach8:30 - 11:00 AM, the last Tuesday of each month. We will be joining several community organizations to hand out commodity boxes to over 600 seniors at the Salvation Army, in the downtown area. Help is needed in checking in seniors at registration, carting the boxes to vehicles or apartments, handing out refreshments, etc.Outreach Information TableHelp is needed at the outreach table on Sundays after each of the 3 services. If you can help once a month, contact Jill Baker at (858) 353-0841.Alamar and Miramar Food PantryHelp feed hungry children each week. Pastor Fernando and his staff feed 300 children each week. You can help today and on a continuous basis by picking up any of the following items when you shop. The items can be dropped off at church M-F between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM and also on Sunday mornings. *Cash donations can also be made and someone will do the shopping for you. Make checks payable to CHCC, with the ‘Mexico Pantry’ in the memo line.
